Business Mediation

Business mediation

We provide mediation resources on a completely confidential, professional basis in relation to all forms of commercial disputes.

What is mediation?

In mediation you work with a trained specialist to identify the issues and problems and work on mutually acceptable solutions that maintain the integrity of the business. The mediator helps you develop fair and equitable results. The mediator draws on his experience and training to help you choose the solutions that meet everyone's needs. The outcome must be mutual and acceptable to all parties. The mediator involves all the parties in the process and helps them work for the common good rather than one individual "winning" at the expense of the others.

Why mediate?

1. Speed - Generally three to six sessions of one hour each are sufficient to resolve most cases. In complex urgent cases we can contract for a one day session subject to parties and mediator availability. We also offer a fixed price 3 hour mediation which we have found to be very successful in suitable cases.

2. Expense - You jointly pay for an average three to six sessions with a mediator with a potential saving of thousands of pounds in individual legal fees for a dispute resulting in Court/tribunal proceedings.

3. The dignity of reaching your own agreed solutions rather than having an uncertain result imposed upon you in contested proceedings.
