Jacqueline Cooper has been qualified as a solicitor since 1987. She joined our commercial law department in January 2015 on a consultancy basis to provide experienced advice to our clients on company commercial and partnership issues and commercial property.
Jacqueline spent the first twelve years of her career at a well- known London firm where she dealt almost exclusively with professional practice clients, advising on their partnership issues and commercial property issues. Jacqueline was a founder member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners. She is also well versed in wider company commercial matters, with a particular emphasis on owner managed businesses of all shapes and sizes, and, having been a partner herself both in the firm in London from the early until the late 1990s, and subsequently and more recently in this region, she has direct experience and understanding of the issues of concern for owners and managers of businesses.
Jacqueline lives in Suffolk and spends the spare time that she has walking her dogs, theatre going and assisting with local issues in her guise as a parish councillor and as a member and supporter of Lavenham Players’ amateur dramatic group
